Foto Monza offers VAT-free shopping to tourists visiting Finland and to Finns living abroad.<\/p>\n

Exempt sales require that the goods are sold to a traveller who is resident outside the EU and Norway. A person is resident outside the EU and Norway if he or she does not reside or stay permanently in an EU country or Norway. A continuous stay of at least six months is generally considered to be a continuous stay.<\/p>\n

Finns living permanently or for at least six months outside the EU and Norway are also entitled to make tax-free purchases. Tax-free purchases can be made two weeks before moving abroad by showing the seller a work or residence permit. Finns living abroad can also make tax-free purchases while on holiday in Finland.<\/p>\n

Purchases must be worth at least \u20ac40 and must be exported unopened from the EU within three months of the month of sale. Vero.fi<\/a> -for more information on the tax authorities.<\/p>\n
