Its lightweight size and small size, combined with its state-of-the-art optical construction, make this an excellent lens for street, documentary, portrait and star photography. Potrette photography usually requires good light gathering power with such wide apertures to separate the subject from the background nicely, and this lens does that nicely too. This lens also travelled actively on the Foto Monza wedding photography set in the good old days.
