This lens is sturdy and has a quality feel right out of the box. The construction is fixed, meaning the length of the lens doesn't change as you zoom. Like all G-Master lenses, this lens offers superb image quality throughout the focal length, even from full aperture. Sony's 70-200 gm also doesn't \u201dbreathe\u201d nearly as much as Nikon or third party equivalent lenses. This means that the lens is also close to 200mm in length when focusing close (cf. Nikon \/ Tamron approx. 135mm).<\/p>\n<p>The 70-200 is made for professionals and is suitable for a wide range of shooting.
