Sigma 35mm f\/1.4 DG DN Art - L-mount<\/h2>\n

The Sigma 35mm f\/1.4 DG DN Art is pretty basic when it comes to focal lengths, but this particular model has been waited for endlessly. It's a moderately wide-angle obiska that's easy to take with you and therefore suitable for street photography, for example. The so-called standard focal length is handy for many subjects such as landscape, street or reportage photography. The maximum aperture of f\/1.4 is very good in low light situations. The optical formula consists of two SLD Special-Low Dispersion elements and one FLD Low Dispersion element which are in your best interest to help you achieve good colour fidelity and sharpness. The Super Multi-Layer coating is of course there to eliminate reflections.<\/p>\n

Focusing is implemented with stepper motors for fast and quiet AF performance, suitable for both light and video modes. The lens also features a manual aperture ring and an all-metal body with programmable AFL button.<\/p>\n

The dimmer is equipped with nine rounded leaves that make the background softening smooth. All these refinements are in a weatherproof environment.<\/p>\n

Part of the acclaimed Art series in Sigma's Global Vision range, this lens aims for performance with a graceful design, it's deft to handle with good optical sorting ability. The lens will of course also work on APS-C sensor cameras although it is designed for cinema size cameras, with a focal length equivalent to 52.5mm cinema glass on these smaller cameras.<\/p>\n

The aperture bracket in position A allows the aperture to be adjusted from the body. The bayonet is bronze to make the connection tight and sturdy. Rubber gasket keeps out dust and moisture.<\/p>\n

The optical formula of the lens consists of 15 elements in 11 groups, including the aforementioned FLD low-dispersion element, ELD extra-low dispersion element, two SLD special-low dispersion elements, and two aspherical elements.
\nThe Super Multi-Layer coating eliminates reflections and haze, so the image is contrasty and sharp.<\/p>\n
