The filter is very useful when shooting in bright daylight when long shutter speeds are required. For example, when you want to capture the movement of water in a soft way, a shutter speed of several seconds is preferable. Also when shooting video, the ND filter often comes in handy, as the shutter speed is often between 1\/50 and 1\/200 and the aperture is at its widest.<\/p>\n<p>The Hoya PROND EX 1000 filter reduces the amount of light passing through the lens by as much as 10 aperture values. In other words, in a lighting situation where you would have to set a shutter speed of 1\/1000 without the filter, the filter allows you to set a shutter speed of 1 second. The EX 1000 is therefore suitable for very bright lighting conditions that require significant light reduction.<\/p>\n<p>Hoya's PROND EX branded filters combine precise optical glass with a lightweight aluminium frame. The frame includes threads on both sides, meaning that another filter can be attached to the front of the filter, such as a <a href=\"https:\/\/devbed.fotomonza.com\/en\/product-category\/pyoropolaariosuotimet-cpl-suotimet\/\">Rotary polarising filter<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>.\r\n\r\nThanks to the ACCU-ND technology of the filter, the image does not suffer from the colour distortion that can occur with some lower quality filters.
