The frame protects your camera while providing numerous 1\/4\u2033-20, 3\/8\u2033-16 and ARRI mounting holes for attaching accessories. The cage attaches to the camera with 1\/4\u2033-20 screws from the bottom and uses an M2.5 thread as a second locking point on the right side of the camera to prevent the camera from moving around in the cage. There are several 3\/8\u2033-16 and 1\/4\u2033-20 threaded holes in the base to which you can attach the cage to an optional tripod plate. The included flat-blade screwdriver allows for quick installation and attaches to the bottom of the cage.
