NiSi Filter IRND Base Kit 100mm<\/h2>\n

NiSi Base Kit 100mm is a kit from NiSi Filters containing two 100 x 100 mm IR neutral density filters, ND8 3 Stop (three stops) and ND64 6 Stop (six stops). Neutral Density (ND) filters reduce the light entering the lens evenly, without changing the colour tones.<\/p>\n

Neutral Shutter allows you to use a wider aperture setting and slower shutter speed, creating images with more motion blur and better detail. Neutral focus is also useful when the contrast between the brightest parts of the image and the deepest shadows is too high to get a good image.<\/p>\n

The ND8 3 Stop filter is often used to capture images of waterfalls and flowing water at shutter speed settings of 0.5 - 2 seconds.<\/p>\n

The ND64 6 Stop filter is often used when shooting with long exposure times (1-2min) at twilight, in still water or under cloudy skies. The 6 stop filter is also well suited for shooting moving water during daylight hours, while preserving image detail.<\/p>\n

The NiSi 100mm ND Base Kit also includes a NiSi soft filter pouch that can hold up to four 100\u00d7100 mm filters (or four round filters with a diameter of approximately 95 mm), a cleaning cloth and four spare foam gaskets.<\/p>\n

\nNiSi IRND filters do not affect the colour balance of the image, offer flawless colour reproduction and are manufactured from high quality optical glass (not resin) with a nano-coating for a flawless image. Normally, when using neutral filters, the camera is more sensitive to infrared light, which produces a reddish result in the image when shooting at low aperture settings. NiSi IRND filters contain an infrared filtering layer that removes infrared radiation through the filter and restores the natural colour tones to the image at all aperture settings.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
