Designed to bring distant subjects closer with unrivalled clarity and detail, this versatile lens is a must-have for photographers who want to capture stunning landscapes, nature, sports and more. Its adjustable focal length offers flexibility for all shooting situations from sharp close-ups to wide vistas. Thanks to advanced optical technologies such as special glass elements and coatings, chromatic aberrations are minimised, ensuring images are sharp and true to life.<\/p>\n

The lens starts at an adaptable 50 mm and extends to an impressive 300 mm at the telephoto end, while maintaining an incredibly compact aspect ratio. At just 150 mm in length and weighing only 665 g, it is the top of its class.<\/p>\n

An advanced optical design consisting of 19 elements in 14 groups, including XLD and LD elements, minimises chromatic aberrations and ensures high-quality images throughout the zoom range. The BBAR-G2 coating further enhances brightness, especially in challenging lighting conditions.<\/p>\n

Featuring Tamron's renowned VXD linear motor focusing mechanism, the autofocus is fast, accurate and silent, making it suitable for both photographic and video applications. The lens also features a minimum target distance of 0.22m and a maximum magnification ratio of 1:2 at 50mm, perfect for close-up to semi-macro photography.<\/p>\n
