The Westcott Solix 2-Light Kit was designed in collaboration with Westcott's top professional Jen Rozenbaum. The kit has everything you need for your own studio lighting, including both main and fill light. The kit includes two Solix LED lamps, a softbox, a striplight, two light stands and a rolling carry case.<\/p>\n
At the heart of the kit are two Solix LED lamps with a luminous intensity of 2125 lumens at a distance of one metre. The lamps include an integrated speed ring to which the included softboxes can be directly attached. The softboxes, Softbox 2x3 Silver and Striplight 1x3 Silver, offer different possibilities to create the desired lighting for different objects.<\/p>\n
Solix is the first compact size LED luminaire with an integrated swivel speed ring for traditional, medium sized softboxes (up to 2 kg).<\/p>\n
The light switch and control knob adjust both the on\/off and brightness of the lamp. A fixed tilting bracket allows for quick orientation and umbrella attachment. Accessories are easily attached with a magnetic attachment system.<\/p>\n
High efficiency LEDs produce excellent light quality, and a CRI of 96 ensures accurate colour rendering that complements the tones of daylight.<\/p>\n
Solix LED lights are compact, lightweight and run on both mains and battery power, making them suitable for both studio and mobile use. With a power consumption of just 60W, the lights can be connected to a standard D-Tap\/PowerTap 14.8V battery and D-Tap cable.<\/p>\n
Flicker-free light at up to 960 frames per second, minimal heat dissipation over long operating times and a quiet internal fan make Solix ideal for video production.<\/p>\n
The kit comes with: 2 Solix barndoors, 2 Solix dimmed diffusers, 2 Tether Tools PowerStraps, 2 mains adapters, 2 power cords, Softbox 2x3 Silver, Striplight 1x3 Silver, 2 light stands (max 3 m high) and a durable rolling carry bag.<\/p>\n
