This type of softbox is mainly used for portraits and portrait photography. Thanks to the umbrella mechanism, the octabox is quick to set up and store. This version of the octabox includes a 40 degree grid and a handy storage bag.<\/p>\n<p>The Octabox is robustly built and equipped with an integrated aluminium Bowens speed ring. Special seats attached to the umbrella mechanism hold the octabox firmly in place.<\/p>\n<p>One of the main features of the Caruba Quick Assembly Matte Silver Octabox is the removable internal reflector that diffuses the light to the outer edge of the box. This eliminates hot spots and produces an even edge-to-edge illumination reminiscent of a beauty lamp.<\/p>\n<p>The Octabox has two removable diffusers, one inside and one in front.
