Venus Optics Laowa 65mm f\/2.8 2X Ultra-Macro Lens - APS-C sensor mirrorless macro<\/h2>\n

The close focusing apochromatic and compact Venus Optics Laowa 65mm f\/2.8 2X Ultra-Macro Lens is a fast tele prime designed for APS-C format cameras. Its macro design allows for a higher magnification than is usually the case. The 2:1 combined with a closest focusing distance of 17 centimetres makes for a pretty sci-fi look, at least with insects. The optics consist of three extra-low dispersion elements that strongly reduce colour leakage and chromatic aberrations to achieve high levels of brightness and colour accuracy. In addition, the focusing system is internal so the lens remains the same size throughout. A nine-blade dimmer makes the bokeh smooth when the depth of field is low.<\/p>\n
