The optics have good coatings on the surfaces to remove haze and the contrast is really good. The optics are driven by a linear XD motor that makes focusing fast, accurate and quiet. The lens is designed for very high resolutions and the image is sharp from edge to edge. It is very rigid and intuitive to use in both still and cine mode.
