Not spoilt for choice, the Canon PowerShot G1 X Mark III is a powerful little camera that fits in your pocket. The combination of a relatively bright lens and APS-C size sensor is quite unique in this size. The Canon PowerShot G1 X Mark III combines compact size with advanced image-rendering capabilities. The G1 X mk III is the first PowerShot to feature an APS-C size sensor, 24.2 megapixel CMOS sensor and DIGIC 7 processor in combination to produce clean, high-resolution images, and performs well in difficult lighting conditions up to ISO 25600. There's even speed for 9 frames per second up to speed if need be. FullHD 1080p60 video recording is included, as well as in-camera time-lapse video when you want to create dynamic content. Your shooting buddy has a multi-purpose 3X optical zoom lens which in cinema size terms equates to a focal length of 24-72mm. A dynamic image stabilizer is a good addition, especially in telephoto. The slim camera is equipped with a 3″ touchscreen that's intuitive to use, as well as built-in Wi-Fi and NFC and Bluetooth. Images are transferred wirelessly and remote access to the camera is effortless. Dual Pixel AF is excellent for focusing. The integrated OLED viewfinder has a resolution of 2.36 million pixels.

Rear screen has a 3″ fully articulated LCD panel with touch features.

The included NB-13L rechargeable lithium-ion battery produces around 235 frames on charge when working with the screen on, and around 315 frames in ECO mode.
