The DJI RS 4 Mini is an all-new compact and lightweight gimbal designed for content creators and independent videographers. Next-generation automatic axis locks, intelligent tracking, Teflon™-enhanced balancing and faster vertical shooting make it an efficient and smooth tool for professional shooting.

Combo package

In the combo package you also get the RS Intelligent Tracking Module (the module includes a camera and AI tracking of targets, this feature works well when the gimbal is on a table for example) and a handle that allows you to use the gimbal in "briefcase mode"."

Faster deployment

The RS 4 Mini features the automatic shaft locks familiar from DJI's flagship gimbals, which automatically open when the power is switched on and lock off when it is switched off. This speeds up the shooting process and transitions between different shooting situations.

In addition, the storage solution has been updated - the axle arms fold flatter, making transport easier. Together with the automatic axle locks, the gimbal is quickly packed and ready for use at the touch of a button.

Changing vertical direction faster than ever

The RS 4 Mini offers the fastest vertical shift in the RS range. To switch to vertical shooting, simply loosen and press the side clamp, rotate the horizontal plate 90 degrees and clamp back - all in less than 10 seconds. This allows direct vertical shooting without any additional accessories, perfect for mobile viewing.

Easy and accurate balancing

The RS 4 Mini's balancing mechanism has been updated with the addition of Teflon™ layers familiar from DJI's flagship models, which reduce friction and make balancing smoother than ever.

• A new fine adjustment screw on the tilting axis allows the camera to be adjusted to a precision of one millimetre.
• The top quick-release plate includes three mounting points, providing more balancing space for different camera models.
• When the camera is removed and reattached, the memory feature maintains the balance for quick deployment.

Versatile and efficient

The RS 4 Mini weighs just 890g, but with a payload of up to 2kg, it will smoothly support Sony A7 series mirrorless cameras with 24-70mm f/2.8 GM II lenses, as well as vlog cameras such as the Sony ZV series. The Gimbal also supports DJI Mic series microphones and fill lights, allowing for versatile content production.

It also comes with a smart Bluetooth connection that allows you to start and stop recording directly from the gimbal without wires. A new zoom control allows you to control Power Zoom and Clear Image Zoom with a joystick, for easy one-handed operation.

New UI improvements and longer battery life

The RS 4 Mini's touchscreen has been updated, with clearer icons and a smoother interface. A new auto-lock function prevents accidental contacts and saves battery power.

Battery life has increased by 30 %, offering up to 13 hours of use. In addition, it supports fast charging, with just 30 minutes of charging giving 5 hours of use.
