Improved operational efficiency, original vertical imaging and an expanded accessory system make the DJI RS 4 Pro a powerful tool for mirrorless camera users. The gimbal weighs only about 1.24 kg and has a carrying capacity of 4.5 kg, making it capable of supporting your most compact camera set-up. Teflon-coated shafts reduce friction during balancing and operation. Other intuitive features include a fine adjustment knob, an auto-locking OLED display and an RSA communication port for expandable accessories.

Design of the second generation of the quick-fix plate
Thanks to the RS 4's familiar double-layer quick-mounting plates, it's easy to set up and balance the camera. The horizontal plate has been redesigned for faster transition to the original vertical image. A fine adjustment knob can be used to adjust the tilt axis to move the camera forward or backward. The upper plate has added positioning instructions for secure camera mounting.

Second generation automatic axle locks
When the gimbal is switched off, you can press and hold the power button and all three axes will open and the gimbal will automatically expand, allowing you to start working in just two seconds. Press the power button once and the shafts automatically lock and go into sleep mode, making moving or storing much more efficient. The second version of this design has created smaller gaps when locked, further reducing vibrations to the gimbal.

RSA Communication Gateway
The RSA communication port allows you to integrate Ronin series accessories into your gimbal configuration. Add Ronin-specific or third-party accessories with control options to switch between different image configurations. The DJI RS SDK protocol allows third-party manufacturers and other developers to create future custom functionality for the RS 4.

Wireless shutter control
Using Dual-Mode Bluetooth, the RS 4 Pro supports wireless shutter control, saving time and effort with every use. After the first Bluetooth pairing, you can control video and photo shooting simply by pressing the record button on the stabilizer. Previously paired cameras can be automatically reconnected after the first use, eliminating the need for a camera control cable.

Updated ActiveTrack Pro
Monitoring in the Ronin series has never been more accurate or responsive. The next-generation ActiveTrack Pro can directly read images from the Focus Pro LiDAR Autofocus camera, eliminating the need for a Ronin Image Transmitter. Using ActiveTrack Pro, you can directly track or frame your target on the RS 4 Pro's OLED touchscreen. The new optional LiDAR unit can project 76,800 points of interest over a range of 20 metres.

Integrated controls
By sliding the new gimbal mode switch you can switch between Pan follow, Pan and Tilt follow and FPV modes. The FPV mode selection is also customisable to 3D Roll 360, Portrait or Custom mode, so you can tune your rig and get started as quickly as possible. Other smart features include motion timing, tracking and panorama. The shutter button can be customised to FPV mode, with three axes following the direction of the handle movement when held down.

Auto Mount Mode
The new automount mode optimises stabilisation, especially to take into account vehicle vibrations and wind resistance for a smooth image.

Fourth generation RS stabilisation algorithm
Thanks to the next-generation stabilisation algorithm, RS 4 Pro offers improved stability compared to RS 3, effortlessly handling vertical shooting, fast-paced movements and low-angle shots. The torque of all three axes of the motor has been increased to 20% for extra power.

Automatically locking OLED display
The RS 4 Pro is equipped with a fixed OLED touchscreen with a new auto-lock feature. When locked, the display shows the current gimbal and joystick movements in low brightness to prevent accidental switching and save battery power.

Integrated monitoring and control
You can remotely adjust the camera exposure directly in the Ronin app or control the gimbal with a virtual joystick for an integrated tracking and control experience. With Ronin Image Transmitter, your smartphone can be used as a motion controller to remotely control the RS 4 Pro gimbal for more flexible and dynamic camera movements.

Improved battery and fast charging
The RS 4 Pro's battery handle features a cartridge design that makes changing batteries easier and smaller for storage. It can even be charged separately from the gimbal. The new battery grip offers extended battery life of up to 13 hours, enough for continuous shooting throughout the day. It supports 18W PD fast charging with a charging time of just 1.5 hours. It can even be used while charging to keep the RS 4 Pro running almost indefinitely
