Fujifilm Fujinon XF 35mm f/1.4
The Fujino 35mm offers a so-called normal lens angle of view, especially suitable for street photography or potrettes. This is one of Fujinon's most unique and popular lenses, it is not technically perfect but it produces a very pleasing image. The excellent f/1.4 aperture works brilliantly for the slightly smaller APS-C sensor and offers beautiful bokeh reproduction and depth of field.
Super EBC coatings combined with special elements create a contrasty and colour-saturated image without chromatic aberrations or shadows.

First things first: the insanely sweet backlight protector ?. The lens is practically as small and light as the newer 35mm F2, but a full aperture more powerful. There are certainly sharper tools for lab work, but for photography, the 35/1.4 has excellent sharpness at full aperture in the middle of the frame and dimmed wide open. The drawing has its own beautiful character, this is not a model designed for sterile lens testing measurements. Special pluses for the short minimum focusing distance and sweet dreamy feel with the short aperture ring.
Excellent picture quality. Beautiful and accurate. Works great for portraits, as well as many other things.
