Small, fast and affordable, the Fujinon 50mm F2 WR offers a focal length of 76mm (35mm) suitable for a wide range of subjects such as portraits and life-style photography. The lightweight design and F2 aperture bring comfort to working in low light, and offers creative control over depth of field. The autofocus of the lens is very fast, accurate and virtually silent, perfect for still photography as well as video. The lens is also weather-proof and works well in extreme temperatures. The lens has a SuperEBC coating that reduces reflections and ghosting, and improves contrast and colour rendition.

A handy sized, sturdily made, high quality short tele. Accurate, fast autofocus. A bit more hissy when focusing than the xf35 f2, but not (to me at least) distracting. If there's something bad to dig out, the lens hood should be metal for the price, but they are plastic for the whole f2 series.
yes, this is just the kind of thing you can tell from the opinions around the web. sturdy and of good quality, as all fuji pipes seem to be. Drawing is good het full aperture and focus is at least xt2 en nokalla fast and accurate. there is an exciting hissing noise when focusing at other times than when shooting at full aperture. the camera apparently always uses a dimmer aperture wide open during focusing to facilitate focusing. there is no similar noise on the 23mm f2 tube, but according to online reports, that hissing noise is a thing with the 50mm tube. in potrait photography you get a nice blurring of the background but this is not a bokeh tube. for five stars you would need a 1.4 aperture or a cheaper price. nikon's 50mm 1.8G tube was recently on sale for 100$ new and you can pay more than five times as much for this. but there's no denying that this is a better looking tube, there's no getting away from it!
