Fujinon XF16mm F2.8 R WR, is the new version of Fuji's from the legendary 16 million. Continuing Fuji's line of compact, lightweight lenses, the XF 16mm f/2.8 R WR is the cinematic equivalent of a 24mm lens and is ideal for landscape, nature and architectural photography. Its f/2.8 maximum aperture is a balance between speed and size. It copes nicely with prevailing light situations and is suitable for everyday shooting. The optical formula includes two aspherical elements to reduce distortion and for greater image sharpness and colour fidelity. Super EBC coating takes care of reflection and haze when working in backlight. The optics are mated to an autofocus motor which, together with the internal focusing system, make focusing fast and very quiet. In addition, the lens is weatherproofed against the elements (no concrete elements).
