Godox Ving V860IIN Sony Salama
Tired of overpriced branded flashes? Worry not, Godox is your friend. Better in every way than the camera manufacturers' own handheld flashes, the Godox Ving V860II shows what small flashes can be when you put it all into play and add a dash of innovation. Power, speed, and integrated radio communication make the Ving V860II Li-Ion flash an unbeatable alternative to camera manufacturers' own flashes. Fully compatible with TTL systems, the V860II supports many advanced functions and features. It also features a built-in Godox wireless 2.4 Ghz X radio system with both slave and master TTL functionality up to 100 meters. On top of this, the flash is powerful and versatile, passing 60 ISO at 100 meters with a 200mm zoom position. The zoom range is 20-200mm (from 14mm if using the pull-out panel). And all of this is powered by a rechargeable Li-Ion battery that allows for fast charge times and long lasting power. It's also worth checking out the other Godox products, if you need more or less power, weight or other features. The Godox family is likely to have a solution for all your lightning needs. In normal use, the Godox Ving V860II features full bounce capability, tilt from -7 degrees to 90 degrees, and rotation left and right 180 degrees. Being TTL compatible, this flash offers support for HSS sync, flash power compensation, first and second curtain sync, and more. In addition, the flash also acts as an optical master and slave, as needed.

It's easy to use and you can realise your wildest visions without worrying about how the flash works. The Godox Ving V860II is a true professional tool.

My first flashlight, pretty clear and I didn't want to play with batteries, so the battery is a big plus, pretty well seems to be enough.
The flash itself is quite good. I had already bought two of them. The Xpro radio remote control is handy for steering. This time there were other problems. The flash had firmware 1.7 and the other flashes and my transmitter had an older firmware. Upgrading Godox to these does not work on a Mac. I had to dig an old PC out of the closet. Somehow I got the transmitter updated and got the flash I bought to work. The upgrade of the other flashes didn't work right away. Windows/update software did not recognize the devices. The filming was done in time. The next day I googled and finally found the cause in the certificates of the windows usb drivers. Forcing tags to be disabled at startup, etc. After that the update went without a problem. With the new firmware Xpro seems to find the flashes better and everything else works fine. A good and affordable flash. Minuses for problems with the upgrade.
Excellent flash. I especially appreciate the possibility to use the flash to control other flashes supporting the 2.4 Ghz X radio system even without the master flash flickering. Another great thing is the easy reset of the flash.
On the downside, the manual is confusing, with a choice between Chinese (?) and English. Different Godox flashes have different C.Fn functions. I'm also bothered by the slave flickering lights that I can't get to turn off.
The V860II from Nikon, Canon, Olympus, Sony, Panasonic and Fuji can control all of Gadox's new flashes simultaneously. For example, people shooting with Sony and Olympus can take turns using the Canon V860II flash and use different flashes in the other group (if the background Canons are in group C then Olympus would light the foreground with group A and Sony with group B).
A really good device. Special thanks to the battery and the battery level indicator, many times I have struggled with battery operated ones and this one alone made me replace the old one with this one.
