The Godox AD400 Pro II takes its popular predecessor, the AD400 Pro, to a new level. It offers a faster freeze mode, more precise power control, brighter bi-color pattern light and easier maneuverability thanks to color-coded group lights. This makes it an excellent light source for portraits, action and video production.

Main reforms

Incredibly fast Freeze mode

The AD400 Pro II can stop motion in up to 1/27 of a 770 second flash - more than double the speed of its predecessor. This means sharp details in dancers' movements, water splashes or fast-paced sports performances, for example.

Wider power control

The power can now be adjusted in 10 steps over a range of 1/512-1/1. This gives you more creative control, especially when shooting with fast lenses or when you want to balance the ambient light.

30W Bi-color LED model light

The new 30W bi-color LED allows adjustable brightness (10-100 %) and color temperature (2800K-6000K). The model light also works as a continuous light for video shooting with stable and flicker-free light.

Improved usability

A 2.4” colour display and 16 colour-coded group lights make it easy to manage multiple flashes. Plus, compatibility with the Godox X3 transmitter makes synchronisation even faster.
