Special ED lens
BDII-XD includes Kowa's renowned double XD lens. This environmentally friendly ED glass lens, rich in fluorite mineral, offers the best possible light transmission. This ensures a clear view from edge to edge of the image area without colour bleed. Coating technology developed by Kowa over decades ensures the lenses' superior light transmission.
Kowa BDII-XD binoculars produce accurate, natural-colour views from dawn to dusk, revealing incredibly sharp detail.
Long-lasting durability
BDII-XD -series frames are made of magnesium alloy, which is as strong as steel but much lighter. The lightweight and durable construction can withstand the most demanding conditions.
The binoculars are completely waterproof and are filled with nitrogen gas to prevent the lenses from fogging. Kowa's unique KR protective coating repels dirt and prevents smudges from building up on the lens surfaces.
Comfort for all users
The sensitive, highly responsive focus ring provides precision and the softly twisting eye shields offer a comfortable and functional viewing setting, even when worn with glasses. Thanks to easy diopter adjustment BDII-XD adapts precisely to the user's needs.
