Special ED lens
BDII-XD includes Kowa's legendary double XD lens. This eco-friendly ED glass lens is rich in fluorite mineral, which has the best light transmission of any known material. As a result, the image is clear from edge to edge without colour bleed. Kowa's long-developed coating technology puts the finishing touches to the lenses' superior light transmission.

Kowa BDII-XD binoculars produce accurate, natural-colour views from dawn to dusk, from which you can observe incredibly fine detail.

Long-lasting reliability
BDII-XD -series frames are made of magnesium alloy, which is as durable as steel but weighs considerably less. The lightweight and durable construction can withstand the most demanding conditions.

The magnesium body of the binoculars is protected by rubber armouring, which provides an excellent grip and further increases the binoculars' durability.

The binoculars are completely waterproof and are filled with nitrogen gas to prevent the lenses from fogging. Kowa's unique KR protective coating repels dirt and prevents smudges from forming on lens surfaces.
