The TSN-99 Prominar is Kowa's first telescope with both a convex XD lens and a pure fluorite crystal lens. Its 99 mm lens is the largest objective lens ever produced by Kowa, offering excellent low-light performance and fine detail without chromatic aberrations.

With its new design and smooth ergonomics, the TSN-99 is easy to use for long periods of time, even in harsh conditions. Its body is made of 100 % magnesium alloy, making it one of the smallest and lightest in the class of high magnification telescopes, increasing its portability.

As in previous models, the TSN-99 features Kowa's quick focus (dual focus), which allows fast action, bringing out the details of the subject in just a few smooth revolutions. Fine focus gives precise, complete control over focus accuracy with small adjustments, even when wearing gloves.

The optical structures are composed of Kowa's unique pure fluorite crystals, and the telescope features their largest objective lens ever made, measuring a whopping 99 mm. Combined with the Kowa XD lens, which has very low dispersion characteristics, the telescope produces amazing image quality with superb colour clarity and minimal chromatic aberration even at high magnification. The objective lens has extra protection from the elements with Kowa's unique KR coating, which prevents dirt, moisture and dust from accumulating on the lens surface.

The remote tube is fully compatible with the entire Kowa accessory assembly.

The Kowa TSN-99 comes in both straight and angled versions, you can choose between a 30-70XW zoom eyepiece or a super wide-angle 40XW eyepiece.
