The OOOM 25-100mm T2.9 Cine is Laowa's first film zoom lens. We are committed to developing a versatile, all-round zoom lens that combines vintage and modern features. This lens is suitable for a variety of productions, the OOOM is designed for a wide range of shooting situations. It is suitable for wide-angle to telephoto, narrative to documentary, one-man-band to film production.

The wider Super35 design allows it to be used without vignetting in 4k UHD with Alexa Mini and 8k HD with Red Helium / 5k HD with Red Gemini. The coverage can be extended up to FF using a 1.4x extender. The large-format, standard T2.9 allows shooting in low light across the entire zoom range. The lens can focus up to 60 cm (~2 feet) away, giving more creative shooting possibilities.

We have worked to develop a zoom lens that combines the features of both modern and vintage optics. We've spent the last 3 years fine-tuning the lens to make it exactly what we want it to be. The OOOM is designed to offer a beautiful vintage look in its colours and bokeh. The image isn't too contrasty or flat, but it has the sharpness of a modern lens. It also produces a natural, healthy skin tone and a silky smooth transition.

The 1.4X FF Expander is carefully designed to fit OOOM without compromising image quality. The lens has a quick switch button that allows you to easily change the focal length scale.

The 1.33X Rear Anamorphic Adapter is also designed to create a cinematic 2:35:1 widescreen ratio when OOOM is combined with cameras equipped with a 16:9 sensor.
