With the clever light stand on the lathe, you can get a more dramatic and higher quality shot. The HiLite backdrop itself produces light, so the subject can be placed right next to the backdrop if desired, without creating shadows. HiLite can also be used as a large softbox or reflector.

The backlight itself stays together and therefore does not need a separate stand. The end of the flash is inserted through a hole in the side of the background. The HiLite can be packed into a small package after shooting ( the diameter of the package is only 55cm ).
