The Manfrotto 161MK2B Super Professional Tripod Mk2 is one of the longest tripods in the Manfrotto family. It can carry cameras up to 20 kilos, with a head height of 267 centimetres (242 centimetres without the centre column). It is the ideal tripod for home and studio use.

The Manfrotto 161MK2B Super Professional Tripod Mk2 centre column is serrated for easy and precise adjustment. The integral mid-level footrest increases stability and prevents unintentional opening of the feet. Compared to a dolly or a flat footrest, the advantage of this solution is that it does not get dirty as easily and the foot can be used on uneven terrain. The serrated central column is precisely secure. The three-bolt assembly holds the head securely in place. Helical footlocks are slower to use than traditional ones, but all the more handy.
