• Light and compact design: weighing only 3.6 kg, the Alien 150C is designed with portability in mind. It weighs 13 % less than its equivalent, making it easier to carry and easier to mount on boom arms or lightweight tripods without compromising performance.
• Efficient and precise lighting: the Alien 150C features an advanced optical design with RGBWW colour mixing technology, which ensures a bright and even beam of light. It produces 13,050 lux at 5600K (light at a distance of only 1m), making it suitable for a wide range of professional applications.
• Wide CCT range and colour accuracy: the light covers a wide colour temperature range from 2700K to 12000K, with ±150 green/magenta adjustment, allowing accurate colour matching with other light sources or simulation of different times of day. The Alien 150C has a CRI of 96, a TLCI of 97, a TM-30 Rf of 94 and a TM-30 Rg of 100, ensuring true-to-life colour reproduction.
• Versatile lighting modes: the Alien 150C offers a variety of modes including CCT, HSI, RGBW, XY coordinate, gel and effects modes. This versatility allows users to easily adjust the lighting to suit different creative needs. HSI mode allows direct and fast adjustment of hue, saturation and intensity, and offers a wide range of 36,000 colours.
• Quiet and efficient operation: the Alien 150C is designed with quiet operation in mind, with five fan modes - Smart, Full Speed, Low Speed, Pause and Off. Smart mode keeps fan noise to a minimum of 19 dB(A), ensuring that lighting does not interfere with audio recording on set.
• Durability and weatherproofing: the Alien 150C is built to withstand challenging environments. Its metal luminaire head is IP55 rated to protect against rain, snow and dust, and it comes with a specially designed rain cover for the control unit, ensuring reliable performance in all weather conditions.
• User-friendly interface and control: the new generation of Nanlite's interface features intuitive icons and minimal textual information, making it easy to navigate and quickly adjust settings. The preset function allows for quick saving and restoring of specific lighting settings, streamlining the workflow on set.
