The Nikon AF-S Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8E FL ED VR is Nikkor's redesigned sports title, and what a redesign it is. It's perhaps the finest lens of its kind, and brings with it an unimaginable level of focusing speed and accuracy. For example Nikon D500 and the Nikon AF-S Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8E FL ED VR is an extremely tough combo, with a resolution in the most demanding conditions that is certainly above 90%. We had the older VR II model and the difference was like night and day, although the old model was already very good. Accuracy and focusing speed are something every Nikon photographer should try.
In line with the current Nikkor line-up, the lens has also been upgraded with an electronic dimmer to ensure smooth exposure even in fast shooting. The product is naturally splash and dust proof and the front lens is nano-crystal coated. The weight of the Nikon AF-S Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8E FL ED VR has dropped by over 100g compared to the old VR II model, a difference that doesn't sound like much, but you'll notice it as soon as you pick up the lens.

Just as good as the product description said, very happy with the lens. Bright and sharp images, beautiful background tone. Highly recommend.
I upgraded my first version Nikkor 70-200 VR to this and even though it cost a lot it was worth it. For fast motion photography I can recommend this very fast focusing lens without any reservations!
