The Nikon P1100 offers an incredible 125x optical zoom, allowing you to shoot from an amazing distance. The camera features a 16 megapixel back-illuminated CMOS sensor and a built-in NIKKOR lens with a 35mm focal length equivalent to 24-3000mm. You can zoom in even closer using the 250x Dynamic Fine digital zoom, giving you a focal length equivalent to an incredible 6000mm. In addition to these extreme focal lengths, Nikon's Dual Detect Optical Vibration Reduction system offers four apertures of optical image stabilisation to ensure sharp telephoto images and significantly reduce camera shake when shooting handheld.

Behind the camera is a 3.2-inch rotating LCD screen with a resolution of 921,000 dots and a 2.36 million-dot electronic viewfinder, so you can always see your subjects easily.
