The NiSi Athena Cine lens series offers a wide range of focal lengths from 14mm ultra-wide angle to 135mm portrait. These lenses are extremely versatile and are ideal for a wide range of shooting conditions. The T-stop classification ensures smooth exposure at all focal lengths by measuring the actual amount of light passing through the lens. The maximum aperture of the 25/35/50/85mm lenses is T1.9, allowing for beautiful and smooth bokeh. The T-aperture is T2.2 for the 18mm and 135mm lenses and T2.4 for the 14mm lens. The impressive 46mm circle of view makes these lenses suitable for use with full-frame and even large format cells.

The lens kit is available as mounting options for ARRI PL, Canon RF, Sony E, Panasonic/Leica L and Fuji G lenses. It offers ultra-low chromatic aberration and micro-contrast control, producing unrivalled image quality and the finest detail. Athena Prime lenses are designed to minimise focus breathing. This means that the change in image area when adjusting the focus from minimum to infinity is extremely small, regardless of focal length or aperture setting.

Back-filtering system: The Athena Prime lens series features a Drop-In filter mount, giving filmmakers more flexibility and creative control. Please note that the Sony FX9 cannot be used with E-Mount Drop-In filters!

All NiSi Athena Prime lenses are the same weight, so there is no need to balance them with a gimbal when changing lenses. All lenses have the same 77 mm filter thread. Both aperture and focus rings are matched throughout the series. All NiSi Athena lenses also feature a 300° focus rotation and a fluorescent focus scale, displayed in both English and metric units for accurate focus pulling. NiSi Athena Cine lenses are designed for ease of use. The lenses feature standard 0.8-mod focusing and iris shifting, making them compatible with a wide range of tracking and matte box systems.

The NiSi 77mm close-up lens can be used to reduce the minimum focusing distance and create stunning macro effects (sold separately).
