The Olympus STF-8 Macro Flash is the world's first dust, splash and frost (-10°C) resistant macro flash with a lightweight and compact design that makes it perfect for any environment, from rainforest to desert.
The STF-8 supports flash photography when combined with a camera with sharpness stacking and focus stacking capabilities. This feature is very useful for photographing flowers and insects in nature, as well as for commercial photography in the studio.
The adapter ring is compatible with M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 30mm 1:3.5 Macro, M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 60mm 1:2.8 Macro and M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 12-40mm 1:2.8 PRO lenses.
This compact macro flash enables versatile and creative lighting solutions by controlling the output ratio of each single or double head. When both ends of the dual flash are used, the guide number is 8.5, and when only one end is used, it is 6. In addition to the TTL Auto Sync mode precision control, the flash can be set in 1/3-step increments with the camera in manual mode and in 1-step increments with the flash control. The main flash can also be used as a controller to control multiple flash units.
