The LUMIX FZ82 semi-system camera can rightly be called versatile. Photographer and LUMIX ambassador Jacob James discovered Tel Aviv's colourful and vibrant street life using only his LUMIX FZ82. The 18.1 megapixel High Sensitivity MOS sensor and advanced Venus Engine processor work extremely fast to capture images and videos in high quality. Fast shooting situations are also facilitated by the FZ82's fast and accurate autofocus, which uses Depth From Defocus (DFD) technology to reduce focusing time. The Lumix FZ82 also features fast burst shooting, recording at 10 fps (AFS) or 6 fps (AFC).

Other features of the FZ82 include QFHD 4K video recording (3840×2160 25p), Power O.I.S. image stabilisation, 4K Photo, Focus Stacking, Post Focus and 4K Live Cropping, and a 1,040K touchscreen supported by a 1,170K Electronic Viewfinder (EVF).
