You can switch between three magnification modes to ensure your image is perfectly accurate.

When you don't have time to set up a tripod and shooting handheld is the only option, the Panasonic Lumix DC-G9's Dual I.S. image stabilizer (5-axis, 6.5 F-number compensation) ensures that image quality is not compromised. This allows you to be spontaneous when shooting outdoors, whatever you're shooting. Thanks to the compact lens, you can also shoot from a distance, even with a telephoto lens, without having to spend time on careful preparation. The 5-axis Dual I.S. 2 works when a compatible lens is used. An update of the lens firmware is also required.

6K PHOTO back, so you never miss the right moment. The only certainty in nature photography is that you never know what's around the next bend. That's why you can capture the unexpected with 6K PHOTO, which lets you shoot in bursts at 30 frames per second. You can then save the best shot as a JPEG image of up to 18 megapixels.

High quality video. The Panasonic Lumix DC-G9 can record 4K video at 60 frames per second. Or 180 frames per second if you want to shoot slow motion scenes. The camera has both a microphone and headphone socket, as well as other features suitable for video production.
