The Rode Microphone NTG3 is a sensitive shotgun microphone designed for professionals for TV production and indie films, or any application where high quality sound is required. The NTG3 has a rich and warm sound. The mic is very rigid and moisture-proof, making it perfect for a variety of outdoor productions. It also comes with an aluminium storage box which is water resistant.

The NTG3 microphone requires +48V Phantom power and is not suitable for use with conventional DSLR cameras without a power supply. If you are looking for a microphone for your laptop, we recommend Rode NTG4+ model, with a built-in battery.
