Sandisk 64GB Extreme Pro 170MB/s SDXC - Sandisk updated card speeds
Sandisk 64GB Extreme Pro 170MB/s SDXC is designed for devices capable of recording FullHD, 3D and 4K video, as well as RAW images on a serial port. The card is compatible with UHS-I bus, and the speed certification is quite sufficient for V30, which guarantees a minimum write speed of 30 MB/s. If your device does not support the V30 standard, this card also supports the U3 standard, which also offers the same minimum write speed. Read speeds are up to 170 MB/s and write speeds are 90 MB/s at best. The card also features a write protect switch. Although the Sandisk 64GB Extreme Pro 170MB/s SDXC card is designed for UHS-I / V30 / U3 compliant devices, it can still be used in devices that do not support these standards. However, in such devices, the card will operate at the maximum speed of the device in question, UHS-1 and U1, which are significantly slower. Like most Sandisk cards, it's shockproof, X-ray and water resistant, and can withstand temperatures as low as -13 below zero. So you can safely use these in snow, desert, and journalistic situations that don't stand up to daylight. If the card's data becomes corrupted, you can download RescuePro Deluxe software, which won't restore any self-respect you may have lost in the aforementioned dark depths of investigative journalism. The card also comes with a limited lifetime warranty.
