The Sigma 12mm f/1.4 DC Contemporary is a compact and fast wide-angle lens designed for APS-C sized Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras. It offers an 18mm cinema angle of view, perfect for landscapes, street photography, interiors and vlogging.

The luminous f/1.4 aperture allows for beautiful background softening and excellent low-light performance. Focus is handled by a quiet and reliable stepper motor that minimises focus breathing in videos.

Optical quality and structure
Three double aspherical lens elements reduce distortion and improve image sharpness. Two SLD elements reduce colour aberrations and ensure bright and accurate colour reproduction. The lens structure consists of 14 elements in 12 groups.

Light and compact
The Sigma 12mm f/1.4 DC is the lightest lens in the Sigma f/1.4 DC Contemporary series. It is 20 % shorter than the previous Sigma 16mm f/1.4 DC DN, and fits easily into a small camera bag - a great choice for travel and handheld shooting.
