This telephoto lens is designed for high-resolution rendering and uses FLD and aspherical glass to reduce chromatic aberration, delivering sharp details even at f/1.4 aperture.

The lens has an adaptable AFL button for custom functions, a focus mode switch and an aperture ring lock.

The aperture ring can be changed from clickable to unclickable for smooth video operation.

A water- and oil-repellent coating on the front element of the lens allows shooting in harsh outdoor conditions, while the dust- and splash-proof construction keeps the internal elements protected.

A removable tripod mount is included, compatible with Arca-type clamps for increased stability due to the weight of the lens. The tripod mount can be replaced with the supplied protective cover.

The Sigma combines two aspherical elements and four F Low Dispersion (FLD) elements to ensure clarity when open to f/1.4 throughout the aperture range.

A total of 17 elements in 13 groups plus a 13-leaf rounded diaphragm create a beautiful circular bokeh, minimising vignetting and colour bleeding even at the edges.

Sigma uses a Super Multi-Layer coating to optimise backlight resistance, minimising potential lens flare and ghosting.

No longer just for photography, the lens elements are optimised to reduce focus breathing, making it a strong choice for professional video use.

The lens is driven by Sigma's dual HLA (High-Response Linear Actuator) focusing system for fast and quiet autofocusing throughout the telephoto lens' focusing range, enabling reliable capture of fast-moving subjects.
