    SmallRig VB99 mini V Mount Battery

    All that's missing from the SmallRig catalogue is the cameras themselves, as the SmallRig VB50 mini V Mount Battery 3579 fills a hole the size of a power supply. SmallRig's v-mount batteries are identical in design, only the size changes. All have D-tap and USB A and C outputs in addition to the basic connector. The unit is ideally sized for monitors and wire-atomic lights.

    One of the main strengths of the Smallrig V-Mount is USB-C charging - no more need for a €500 separate charger!

    The mini word means that the batteries are about 70% the size of a normal V-lock battery. The fast charging protocol circuit+MCU+voltage boost control make the battery really versatile. Most of the fast charging in use is possible: PD/QC/SCP/PPS/ APPLE-2.4A etc. And the power is bidirectional up to 65W via USB-C PD. The intelligent BMS system ensures fast and safe charging. Overcharge, undercharge, over voltage, under voltage and various thermal disturbances are taken into account. The stated capacity is actual, not a sales figure.

      A small but powerful battery. A couple of these will last you a day even if you power many devices. USB-C charging is a big plus, no need to buy big and expensive chargers.

      Perfect for my needs. Dtap power to the Atomos recorder and usb power directly to the camera, lasts all day. One minus is that the usb-c power delivery and usb-a port don't work at the same time, but that's the same with all the battery banks I've tried. Usb-c charging is an absolutely awesome feature and saves money, space and weight of the backpack by not needing a separate charger.
