An excellent package for the amateur or professional interested in photography. 

The Sony A7 IV has inherited a whole host of features from Sony's flagship cameras and is now a sure-fire hit of the future. It's a streaming camera, a video camera, a magazine camera, a wedding photographer's camera, in fact it's a bit of everything. A true basic camera. It improves on everything that made the A7 III a hit that was given the additional name ”basic camera” when it was released, but was much more than the name implied. It's been a while since the last update, so real progress has been made. The newcomer has a rather generous 33 megapixels, and takes 10pc shots for every second until the buffer goes into a knot after 828 raw/jpg images. It's hard to think of what shooting the A7 M4 wouldn't be suited to? It's almost the perfect camera for action, landscape, architecture, astro and potrait photography, well that's almost where it all came in. To expand a little on what I just said, the infinitely fast autofocus and continuous shooting speeds combined with the adequate body reserve make this a great nature and sports camera.

The Sony A7 IV is not suitable for use under water, at least not without a housing, although the weather protection has been updated to match the professional bodies of Canon and Nikon. To match the new and improved weather protection, a redesigned Sony VG-C4EM battery grip has also been made to improve vertical shooting ergonomics and double the battery capacity.

The Sony A7 IV has also received a bunch of big updates on the video side. The only downside is that the rolling shutter is a bit worse. But here's a list of the major improvements:

Other innovations and features

Also the body has been redesigned compared to the Sony A7 III, the body is now the same design as the fourth generation of Sony cameras such as the A7S III. The body is also now more weather and moisture resistant to withstand, for example, wild shooting trips in harsher conditions. Weather protection is also enhanced by a redesigned Sony VG-C4EM battery grip, which is on a par with the rest of the protection.

The menus have undergone a radical overhaul for the better, with a much-needed touch feature.

Same battery Sony NP-FZ100, which is very well proven, and is one of the best batteries on the market. Memory card slots are now 1x UHS-II and 1 x UHS-II / CFExpress. So you can write RAW images to both cards without the camera slowing down due to the slower slot. The image stabilizer has also been optimized and should now stabilize to 5.5 apertures.
