Lightweight optics with a wide focal length

Leading optics manufacturer Tamron is launching an exciting new lens: the 18-200mm F/3.5-6.3 Di III VC (Model B011). This new zoom lens is designed for Sony and Canon's lightweight and compact mirrorless SLR cameras. Despite its light weight of 460g, the lens is equipped with a heavyweight series of features. The lens is equipped with an updated version of Tamron's own highly acclaimed Vibration Compensation (VC), which is now even better and quieter than before. The powerful image stabilizer allows hand-held shooting from a wide angle of 18 mm up to a telephoto distance of 200 mm. The lens also features a Direct Manual Focus (DMF) function that makes manual focusing really easy and effortless. The focal length of the 18-200 mm is 27-300 mm. The wide focal length allows you to play around with the subject and the focusing distance to create interesting effects, for example when shooting small subjects.
