The Viltrox AF 33mm f/1.4 is a compact and comfortable to use lens with a so-called basic focal length. It's kind of a must-have focal length for anyone. If I were to put one focal length, it would probably be this one. A matter of taste, of course. The lens is equipped with a nice f/1.4 maximum aperture, which gives you nice control over depth of field and works well in low light situations. The optical formula includes a couple of extra-low dispersion elements, and a couple of high dispersion elements. With these, the image is sharp, colour-accurate and without much interference. HD Nano multi layer coating reduces flare and it also improves contrast. In addition, the lens' STM focusing motor is fast and quiet.

The optics are mated to an STM stepper motor that is virtually silent, fast and accurate at full hand speed. The internal focus design helps with fast performance. The lens also features a micro-USB port for firmware updates. The black finish is a stylish finishing touch.
