The Zhiyun Crane 3S Gimbal is a redesigned version of the older Zhiyun Crane 3 from LAB. This hand-operated gimbal is fitted with proper super motors, with a staggering 6.5 kg load. For the first time, you can get a professional video camera Sony FX9, Arri Alexa or Red camera in a ”small” gimbal. The Zhiyun Crane 3S easily converts to large and small setups thanks to its modular expansion system. Handling your filming equipment with the Crane 3S is easy and flexible.

The Crane 3S is equipped with three axles, all of which are lockable. This makes balancing much easier and faster. The very powerful motors connected to the axles make the gimbal completely vibration-free.

Smart and EasySling handles

This gimbal comes with a Smartsling handle with an integrated OLED panel. The panel allows you to control the stabilizer and camera settings such as zoom and focus. The Smartsling handle can be found on the Zhiyun Crane 3S-E model. As the name suggests, the handle makes it quick and easy to change the angle of view from high to low. There are also dedicated buttons for different tracking modes, allowing you to quickly switch between shooting modes without having to stop shooting.

Integration

The Gimbal is equipped with several different attachment points, which allows the attachment of a wide range of accessories. Examples of such accessories include easyrigs, motorised dollies and booms. These accessories make the gimbal suitable for almost any video production.

The Gimbal has a DC-IN port that supports power supply up to 25.2 volts. The built-in batteries provide up to 12 hours of run time, which is 35% more than the older Zhiyun Crane 3 LAB.

Remote control is possible as with the LAB and Weebill models, i.e. via a smartphone. You can control most of the gimbal's functions from your smartphone, and also use your phone as an additional display.

Differences between the Crane 3S and 3S Pro gimbals:

Zhiyun Crane 3S PRO gimbal is not significantly different from the 3S gimbal. The only differences are in the included accessories. The 3S pro version comes with the standard 3S version accessories plus a PowerPlus battery pack, zoom controller, focus controller, transmount imaging system, smartphone holder and carrying case.
