Musicians know (and those in the know) that a camera like the Zoom Q2 is an invaluable tool when you want to quickly get out demo footage, whether you're rehearsing, or when you want to produce content for your fans. Video clips are saved as high-quality MOV files at 4K, 1080p or 720p resolutions of either 24 or 30 fps, on convenient microSD cards. A locked focus 160° wide angle lens captures you and your instruments on film from up to a metre away. The sound comes naturally in stunning quality. The wide f/2.0 aperture produces clear video even in low light and is backed up by 10 selectable shooting modes to suit the most popular performance situations. These shooting modes include "Concert Light" which automatically adjusts the amount of light as it changes, and "Concert Lo-Light" for lower light situations. The Zoom Q2n-4K consists of a stereo condenser microphone in X/Y format for clear stereo imaging, without phase error. Because the mics can take up to 120 dB of pressure, the Q2n is right at home on loud rock stages. Audio can be recorded separately without video if you prefer (WAV file, up to 24-bit/96 kHz).

With USB you can get even more out of your device, just open your DAW and start working. Or even stream live.

Powered by two AA batteries, you get up to 2 hours of power for recording a gig or even random ideas on tour.

Wide angle lens

The Zoom Q2n-4K features a 160 wide-angle lens and records at 720p, 1080p HD and 4K UHD resolutions at 24 or 30 fps. f/2.0 aperture is versatile.

Just the sound

The Q2n-4K Handy can only record audio only, you just use the ’Camera Off’ setting and you can record X/Y mic audio only.

External connections

The device has a 3.5mm (1/8") stereo input for connecting external audio sources. A headphone socket is also available, and can also be used as a line input. On the picture side, you can connect the device to an HDTV receiver via the MicorHDMI interface.
