Hand-held flashes are compact flash units that can be mounted on the flash housing on top of the camera or used as a stand-alone unit. They are attached to the camera with their own cable or radio transmitter, allowing the flash to flash at the same time as the shutter button is pressed. Handheld flashes often have a swivel head, so you can point the light in the right direction. They're also always better and more efficient than integrated flashes in cameras.

Our range includes high quality handheld lamps from third party manufacturers, such as Godox, Rooster, Nissin and Profoto. Their flashes are often cheaper and of better quality than the camera manufacturers' own flashes. You can also find camera manufacturers' own flashes in our range.
