Tämä Capture One lisenssi sopii ainoastaan Nikon kameroiden RAW kuvien käsittelyyn. Ohjelmalla ei pysty avaamaan muun kameramerkin RAW kuvia. On vaikea välttää ylisanoja kun puhuu Capture One Pro raw editorista. Johtuu kaiketi siitä että pitkään meillä ei ollut muuta kuin Lightroom joka oli hidas, buginen ja kaikinpuolin vähän harrastelijamainen. Monelle Capture One eli C1 tuttavallisesti, häilyy mielessä kuvanlaadun multihuipentumana mutta joka on käyttöliittymältään ollut haasteellinen. Totta on että C1 on ollut hiukan vaikeaselkoisempi ENNEN, mutta viimeisen 5 vuoden aikana on otettu käyttäjäystävällisyyden suuntaan isoja harppauksia.
