Insta360 X3 is Insta360's pocket-sized spherical VR solution with dual and single lens modes, in case the bottom of the pocket comes up too early One RS 360 version, this is the answer. In dual-lens mode, or 360 mode, the camera uses both front and rear lenses, leaving the card with a very portable 5.7K resolution 360 video with automatic internal compression, and in single-lens mode the footage is 4K. The on-device iOS/Android app lets you move through the footage and select the angle of view, and you can share them directly to social media. The single lens mode turns this 360 camera into a regular camera that you can shoot with normally. In this case, the material is indeed the aforementioned 4K and the frame rate is 30 fps. This mode, also known as SteadyCam mode, uses FlowState stabilisation with an advanced detection algorithm that digitally stabilises the image along six axes.

The X3 is designed to be waterproof up to 10 metres, without a separate housing, and is rated IPX8, so underwater and in the rain is quite handy. The camera has a circular touch screen on the front for cropping and monitoring. For audio recording, the X3 is equipped with four microphones with wind attenuators. The sound is thus pure 360 sound. The device has support for an optional 3.5mm microphone adapter for an external microphone.
