Kenko Filter ND8 SLIM 52mm

The Kenko slim series filters have a new, slimmer design, with the filter rim about 1mm lower than the previous model.
This clearly reduces vignetting, especially with wide-angle lenses.

The ND8 grey filter reduces the amount of light reaching the image sensor to an eighth of the original. This allows the use of larger apertures or longer exposure times, without overexposing the image. This feature is ideal when taking portraits, for example, where you want to separate the subject from the background with the shortest possible depth of field. The subject/person is then drawn sharp and the background blurred. A grayscale filter is also useful when shooting moving water, allowing the water to flow smoothly, thanks to a longer exposure time.
