When all you need is one camera and one lens for your trip, the Lowepro TLX 45 AW is the right choice. It holds, for example, a Sony A9 and 24-70mm f/4 -kit sized phaser with lens. For ease of use, the bag can be worn as a regular shoulder bag or attached to a belt. The bag's All Weather AW Cover™ provides protection for your camera in all weather conditions. In addition to the camera section, the bag has one internal and two external pockets for small items. The shoulder strap is fully adjustable and removable as needed.

I was looking for the most compact bag possible for my Sony RX10. The Lowepro TLZ 45 AW is one of them. The camera fits just right with the strap in place and the lens hood in place. The side pocket holds a spare battery, a short cable and a small charger, leaving a front pocket and a flap pocket as a spare. The attachment of the carrying strap is well thought out. The strap fits snugly against the side of the bag.
