Olympus' answer to birdwatchers. Excellent outline and luminosity, yet in a compact size. This lens is roughly equivalent in size to a full cell 24-70mm f/2.8 lens. The lens weighs just 1270 grams, making it very comfortable to handle and carry even on longer trips. The lens' 5-axis image stabilizer works in conjunction with the built-in stabilizers on Olympus system cameras to provide up to 6-step stabilization.

600mm focal length is generally a very good focal length for bird and wildlife photographers. The closest focusing distance is 1.4m so you can also easily take detailed close-ups.

The Olympus PRO series offers ultra-fast focusing, a metal body and weather protection so you can use the lens in even the harshest weather conditions with confidence.
