The 290 Xtra is a 3-section stable and rigid aluminium chassis. Key features include the ability to choose from four different angles of the legs, which greatly increases the photographer's shooting possibilities. A fast centre column adds flexibility and increases the min-max height range. A new rubber foot guard ensures a comfortable grip on the tripod and an ergonomic working position. The stand is supplied with a shoulder bag.

The new 290 Xtra stand comes in a kit with a very compact ball head that is easy to carry. Its wide, spherical movement combined with the quick release plate allows for quick and convenient framing. The ball head is equipped with a 200 PL Light baffle and is made of aluminium. The head also features a friction control function that helps the photographer fine-tune shooting settings even when using heavy equipment.
